Our water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects are all aimed at raising the quality of life for impoverished communities across South Asia. This is an important initiative for SAF International because it is providing basic human rights to vulnerable people in need.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygeine

Water Filters

Lightweight and easy to maintain water filters provide families with access to drinkable  water that can also be used for basic household tasks too.

Water Bore

With access to bores, communities can have access to a much larger supply of clean water for a large list of daily activities such as cleaning clothes, showering, food prep, and farming.

Water Filtration System

A larger filtration system for an entire community that actively cleans surface water from ponds, rivers and rain, making it safe for drinking and daily use. Our first fully installed water filtration system will be in Bathinda, Punjab.

Latrines & Washrooms

These provide families with a safe and private place to use the restroom, which reduces odours and flies within the living space and helps eliminate certain health risks.
